The author has several annoying habits. First telling personal stories that not only do not add to the understanding of the topics but are very distracting and waste of time.

This was a ok book, alot of small talk instead for really showing you things. Would have liked more examples of what xml can do instead of the history of.

This book is NOT a concise guide as the editorial review says. It is cluttered up with wordy, conversational talk unrelated to learning html/xml.
